Eddie's dad is the Pastor of the church ...so Doreen occasionally sees Eddie around. She sees how Eddie helps his dad with everything. To Doreen's surprise, Eddie truly appears rather quiet and humble. Because he was always so competitive at school, she had pictured him as self-centered, always wanting to be on top. But he is actually very polite, and doesn't make himself the center of attention ...he actually appears shy, not paying her much attention either.
